Red Hat

This look all started with my favorite red knit hat from Zara. I love the pop of color it adds to any outfit and I wanted to create a look that was quirky and a bit nautical. The next thing I thought of was this mustard colored sweater, also from Zara. It's the ketchup and mustard thing. Why is it that I love red and yellow together so much? I'm not a fast food eater, but I am definitely a fan of this color combo. I paired these pieces with my dog-print dress from ModCloth. It has lovely blueprint sketches of various dogs, highlighted with the same yellow.

For some reason, it only felt right to add these eggplant colored shoes to the mix. I am a huge fan of these flats from Forever 21. I love the pointed toe and I think the color adds character. I do, however, think they are incredibly versatile and can be paired with a variety of outfits.
